The band plays a mix of blues, country and rock 'n roll. They often played as supporting act for big names like Pearl Jam, U2 and Bob Dylan. The group has built up a large fan base mainly in the alternative music circuit and mainly through word of mouth advertising. So far the band is very popular in the U.K. and they achieved successes with songs like Mollys Chambers, The Bucket and Sex On Fire. The album "Because Of The Times" even reached the first position in the United Kingdom. In 2008 they released their fourth album "Only by the Night". The single Sex on Fire, was their first number 1 hit in the British singles charts and in Finland. The second single Use Somebody did also very well. The song reached the top spot in the Belgian Ultratop 50. In October 2011 their fifth album Come Around Sundown was released , with the Grammy-nominated singles Radioactive and Pyro.
