“Fieldrecordings” of Blues artists in and around Brownsville, Tennessee. Most known performers in this area are Hammie Nixon and Charlie Sangster, two old time blues veterans. Together with the early deceased Sleepy John Estes they have put Brownsville on the bluesmap.
