Carolina De Holanda - Asi Se Siente Mexico

Asi se siente Mexico is the fifth CD of Carolina and has become a very varied CD with several Mexican music styles. She performs traditional Mariachi´s but also Norteno´s, lively accordion music from the north of Mexico, and a couple of splendid ballads.

The CD contains songs of the best Mexican songwriters such as: Juan Gabriel, Jose Angel Espinoza, Juan Zaizar, Alvaro Carillo and ofcourse Jose Alfredo Jimenez. But one of the highlights of the CD is the title ‘Recuerda’ that Carolina recorded with her example and inspirator Maria de Lourdes.

Carolina got at high exception authorisation of the inheritors of Maria de Lourdes to use the tapes to record a posthumous duet with her. On March 16 Carolina has presented her CD in The Hague where among others The Ambassador of the Mexican embassy was present to receive a first copy of her new CD.
